Pro tools EDU as normal, educational or perpetual
Hello, I have two questions.
1. I have an avid account with pro tools 10-11-12 (12.5) EDU, and I want to upgrade to using PT in Catalina. I want to upgrade or buy another license, but I'm not sure if it will be wiser to buy a new license without losing the PT 12, or it does not affect? 2. I can't decide about the version. I want to make sure that after one year ill still be able to use the pro tools like I'm doing now with my old PT 12. The version is Pro Tools, Pro Tools Ultimate, and Pro Tools Perpetual. Only on the perpetual Avid mention "Buy it once and own it forever," but I guess it applies for the other version? What version should I choose? I don't have HDX, and I don't know how often I will need to use more than audio 128 channels. |
