Default Odd Waveform on a guitar track

I was working on a guitar track doing some editing on the audio track. When I zoomed in, I saw this really odd looking wave form. Anyone know what might cause this?

Been traveling/recording in a TARDIS lately? Peter Capaldi's Doctor played guitar on several episodes in and out of the TARDIS.
