Oh I don't necessarily disagree with anything you've said in relation to PT or AVID for that matter. And if I did I would certainly respect your opinion anyways.

My admittedly melodramatic post was a response to your "Amurkia - Love it or leave it" tinged post, which I would expect from Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh or perhaps Ted Nugent, rather than on an international audio forum.

Anyhow, my apologies for this off topic diversion...carry on gents!

Just for comparison, Apple has a market cap of 469 billion, and their cash reserve is 160 billion.

Avid has a market cap of 272 million, with 48 million in cash.

Doesn't sound totally bad.
