Default clocking a 96 from a 192i

i have been enjoying a digidesign 96,

i have access to a digidesign 192i,

so i was wondering...could i improve the sound quality of my hd2 system by clocking my 96 from the 192i..or am i simply better off using my internal 96 clock - just wondering what folks thought

i use the 96 for its analog ins and outs...i have no need for the i/o on the 192i...but if it's clock would increase the sonics...then i'd use it

please share your thoughts

Hi

now my original post used the (i) after 192

I think that (although a small letter) it indicates 'digital'

now I may be wrong...ha ha..cause according to my wife that's possible....and she is the expert! least so she tells me

all good...cheers
