Forget it lads. We've clawed at them for over ten years for that, and have had promises broken. AudioVision died, nothing was learned from it. Do not expect this to change. Make escape plans as you've always done.

Many of us use Soundminer as a bin system for example. I've got the find function for the region list commited to muscle memory so well, it's like an instinct.

Sure.

CTRL+SHIFT+F (Command+Shift+F for the Mac)

Narrows things down with a live search. Much quicker if you know what you want.

I don't want to have to search the list manually ever again. If curses came true, Digidesign would be a ghoulish place anway by now, but that sure would have added a notch to the darkness. Nobody likes the limitation of one region list for everything AFAIK.

No! We must continue to fight! Our struggle is noble and even if the benefits are not realized in our lifetimes we must make ProTools better for future generations. Do it for the children!

Yes they will need as many tools as possible when they are doing the work in half our time and on $10 an hour?

Do you want fries with that will be better paid?

Reminds me of a piece of standup.

"You have all the dreams about your kid. In one of them it says : I'd like to thank the Nobel academy. And in the other one it says : You want fries with this ?"
Robin Williams, Live at the Met 1986

Protools crr-r-r-r-rawled to a standstil(roll those Rs). Used to be the prize winner, now it's a Wendys clerk you hope didn't spit in your fries.
