The only thing that disturbs me about the email is that they kind of brush over VTM, which is still having HUGE issues for me both in PT10 and PT11. Is anybody else having constant crashes with the latest BETA of VTM?

VTM is not beta. You should be running 1.1.7.1 ...

VTM is working fine for me, 10.3.9 and 11.2.1 ... Mac OS X 10.9.4 ...

Hm, according to my emails with the team, 1.1.7.1 was the "latest beta", and its been nothing but crashville for me since June. 10.3.9 and 11.2.1, Mac OSX 10.8. If this is an official release at this point, I am worried.

All my other Slate plugins (all of them) are running great, tho!

I've decided that even when VMR eventually comes out. I'm going to wait while until all the bugs are worked out. It seems like the company has a lot of issues going on...outstanding press, but nothing but hype.

I'm sure this will be a detailed list of reasons why things were delayed "beyond our control" - "wanting the best for our customers" - "You'll be amazed by what we're doing" etc. etc. etc.

Of course it won't happen again. AAX will be the standard for decades. VST and AU will stay as is. There will be no new formats..no reason for it now.

Just my two cents. Looking forward to the email. Yawn.

You should contact support then.

VTM 1.1.7.1 and VBC 1.2.4.1 stable releases announced and available for download July 28 ...

They're in every one of my sessions - no crashing.

I've not used VTM much, but the times I have it's worked finest PT11.

However I do have one question. He says in the email they're working on a way to use VCC and FG-X in pt11 for now until 2.0 is released. Does that mean it's gonna be another couple years? I was hoping it wasn't so far away they would be trying to patch what they have. Or even mention it. If that was an option he should have done it long ago. At least IMO.
