Plugins not recalling on imported snapshots

Hi all.

I have an SC48 and I've been trying to import snapshots using the venue 4.5.2 standalone. When I import the snapshot and recall all my plugins are missing from the rack, and what was already in the rack before the snapshot was recalled remains. The patch for the rack remains intact from the snapshot. Plugins are saved and set to recall in the snapshot.

Am I doing something wrong or is this just how it is? My SC48 is on 3.1.1 so the show files are being converted from 4.5.2. Thanks for any help you can offer.

While plugin settings are part of a snapshot, rack population is not. That is a show file setting, which is why the plugs in the current show file remain when you import a snapshot. You'll have to make the plugin racks match each other, then import the snapshot and all will be right with the world. Remember, anything that will interrupt audio is show file based and is not a snapshot feature. If you have to put the console in config mode to make a change, it's not snapshotable (is that a word?).
