Default Elastic Time Issues

A little background first.

I brought in a drum track as a wav file.
I used beat detective to separate it into regions to allow me to adjust the tempo. That part worked fine.

I also have a guitar track that I am trying to sync to the drums.
It is pretty much a twelve bar blues but over time it seems to be drifting from the drum tempo.

I followed the steps in an Elastic time tutorial to try to clean up or sync it to the drums. I chose two options for Elastic time, polyphonic and rhythmic. I tried it both ways.
I analyzed it and check the warped markers and they were present.
I used the quantize feature and hit the apply button, but it does not seem to have done anything.

Is there something that I am missing? Elastic audio events is selected, as wells as 16th note grid in the quantize window.

Thanks.
