If you have children in high school music programs, the GRAMMY Foundation is offering two exciting opportunities. The Gibson/Baldwin GRAMMY Jazz Ensembles is a national competition open to all high school aged instrumentalists and vocalists. Thirty students will be selected to receive an all-expenses paid trip to perform in GRAMMY related activities in Feb 2004. Ensemble members are also eligible for more than $2 million in college scholarships.

GRAMMY Signature Schools awards cash prizes and local visibility for 40 schools that have achieved excellence in music education, often against the odds of shrinking education budgets. A multi-tiered evaluation process screens competing schools based on a written application and recordings of school music ensembles. Awards are presented to the schools at their annual spring concerts. GRAMMY Signature Schools is presented by 7-UP.
