HP DV9700T with Vista 64bit
I have an HP DV9700T notebook with Vista Home Premium 64bit installed. I am successfully running PT8 LE w/ an Mbox Mini, but it did require a bit of tweaking. In addition to performing all of the optimizations suggested by Digidesign (except turning off Cleartype), I found that I had to disable the Nvidia driver for the onboard GeForce 8600M GS. Prior to making this change, I was getting lots of 9092, 9093 and 9094 errors.
I have not tried the driver recently issued by Nvidia (12/08). i hope this helps someone.
