Default 002 headphone jack


anyone have any idea why the right side only of my headphone jack is working on my new 002 , i have tried 3 sets of headphones the right side only works. is there something i'm missing? i have been using Mbox 6.4 previously for almost 4 yrs. thanx for any help

Are you getting L/R output from your main outs? If you are it sounds like a problem with the hardware. I'm not aware of any settings that would disable the left channel on the headphone outs only. They should always mirror the main outs. Sounds dumb but make sure the jack is pushed all the way in (requires a bit of force) so you don't get the half-insert effect..

My 002R's headphone jack broke after a year. It's just glued to the chassis, not bolted on like it ought to be. It's a cheap repair, though.

checked everything again. tried all the dumb stuff. got a new set of phones and lo and behold the new phones worked.

HOw cheap was the repair and where did you get it done. It looks pretty complicated to me, although I am pretty sure I can fix it myself, it requires replacing the part because as someone noted, ot is glued in in such a manner that once it comes out you cannot get it bacj through the hole with enough threads available to reattach it.

I would like to hear about fixing the Digi, though. Where do you go and how much does it cost?
