Default 7.x backward compatibility issue with 6.4

Up-graded from 6.4 to LE 7.0. 6.4 sessions open but part of the way thru the tracks, DAE error 87 appears and the error message about "DAE can't get audio fast enough....(-9073)" Any known fixes for this one ?
Thanks

You probably should post a Sandra report as described here: Help us Help You - READ THIS Before Posting!
And tell us what interface you have too. Considering how NOT powerful a P4 is, with 2.5GB of RAM, and I have no idea what this is: "2.5 Dram - Net drive", this computer may not be up to the task. PT 7 changed the way the software interacts with the cpu(allowing for multi-core use) and each major upgrade(7, 8, 9, 10) requires more power from the computer(for all the extra features and functions).

One thing you can try is; create a new blank session and then use the Import Session Data function and import everything from the old session.

Thanks albee:

I tried your suggestion. "create a new blank session and then use the Import Session Data function..." I can import pt6 wav files but not session data. And those are 2 ch. Sometimes the p6 sessions will play for 30 - 45 seconds and hang. Other than that, pt7 sessions runs fast and smooth. no prob.Btw I use a 002 interface, external Glyph Net Drive 115GB @ 7200 Rpm.

Peace....Robert
