Re: Mac sound better than window?
They use the same converters and any internal processing sounds identical.. choose the platform based on other criteria.

Re: Mac sound better than window?
i use a hp pavillion pc with 768 kingston ram silent and stable 999 euro
a g5 will cost 3000 euro i suggest you use the hp and buy some decent nearfield monitors with 2000 euro the soundcard and the monitors will make the sound not the pc ps: i have also a powerbook and don't even use it my daughter who has 7 seven years even think it's not a pc but something as a pocket calculator |

Re: Mac sound better than window?
i say macs DEFINITELY sound better. you should DEFINITELY buy a mac. if you go to apple's website, you may find a scientifically proven test they did to prove that macs do indeed DEFINITELY sound better than PCs. you may find the results of that test next to the one that DEFINITELY proves that the mac g5 is the FASTEST personal computer on the planet.

Re: Mac sound better than window?
Hello gonglee ,
Simply...yes , Macs do sound better. Scientific test have proved, that dropping a G5 off the top floor of highrise complex, has produced a quite noticeably louder bang/crash hitting the concrete pavement below !! Besides, 99% of PCs have prompted users with "Are You Sure" questions just before dropping, to which most replied >> Hell, no..I love this thing! there you have it.. happy tooling, cheers,

Re: Mac sound better than window?
hmmmmmmmm. well i have a g5 on one side of the table and a amd xp on the other side ----THEY BOTH SOUND THE SAME TO ME/the fact is people should be more concerned with thier mixing skills as an engineer to achieve better sound---ive heard better sound come from full analog studios than some peoples g4/5 digital studios---can i get an amen???? POINT IS THE TECH TODAY IS SO CLOSE TOGETHER--ITS MORE OF AN OPINION----TESTS SCMESTS----THE GREAT SOUND COMES FROM YOU NOT THE COMPUTER.
PRO TOOLS is the best out....dont wory about the computer--if its up to par with digidesigns compatibility---then getting the best sound is all left to you........... true so true |
