2.8.2
Installed this morning on d-show with sidecar. Works like a champ. Comp and gate lights now work on sidecar. When I group spill, the gain lights on sidecar still are not behaving properly or at all.

Re: 2.8.2
Hi,
There's a known issue in which the gain controls for a channel or FX Return being fed by a plug-in don't update on the control surface, although the value does change on screen. This will be addressed in a future update. Is this what you're seeing? Or are other types of channels, such as those being fed by stage inputs, affected? Sheldon |

Re: 2.8.2
If I have more than 8 channels in a group and it spills over from the main unit to the sidecar in group spill mode, the led's for input gain are not working on the sidecar. This only occurs in group spill mode. When I return to normal operations, all the led's are good and behave normally.

Re: 2.8.2
Thanks for the info. We're not able to reproduce this on our setups, so please send a copy of the show file (.dsh file) to [email protected], and reference this DUC post. Please include as much info as possible, e.g., which Group is affected, which channels, how the Main/Sidecar are configured, etc.

Re: 2.8.2
Hi Evan,
Thanks for sending in the file, it helped narrow down the problem. There appears to be a bug in that Sidecars show incorrect input level meter data when a group/VCA is spilled. This bug only occurs when the Sidecar fader banks are unlinked from the Main unit. We've logged this to be fixed in a future release (sorry, but no specific ETA at this time). In the meantime, the workaround is to keep fader banking for Main & Sidecar units linked together. Fader bank linking is controlled via an option on the Options > Interaction page. Sheldon |
