Default what do system 10 errors mean???

I have a 9600 with an xlr8 G3 400 Mhz processor clocked to 400 Mhz, dual IX Micro Twin Turbo graphics cards intalled in slots 5 & 6 running two monitors, an Adaptec 2940UW in slot 4, DIGI 001 in slot 1, SCSI Barracuda as system drive, and an internal 10,000 rpm IBM ultrastar as my audio/session only files drive.

Suddenly, when I open up Protools 5.1 it crashes when the DAE tries to load the Plugins folder upon launching Pro Tools.* It still happens even when I take all plugins out of the plugins folder and trash prefs and digi setup, empty trash, and restart. Crashes every time. Message says "system error type 10". I've had this system for over a year with no probems like this. This problem is very sudden and unexpected. I reinstalled Protools 5.1. No help. Mac Base extensions plus necessary Digi extensions enabled. Checked all cables for problems, SCSI ID fine, I'm generally a good troubleshooter, this one has me stumped. Digidesign copped out on the nonsupported processor issue, but this is not the issue as it's worked for over a year with the same system. Please help!!

Here's some more info:

ID=09 and ID=10 Line 1010 & 1111 Trap
-------------------------------------
There are many routines in the Macintosh ROM that can be called by placing instructions in a program that aren't in the 68000's vocabulary. When the 68000 encounters
such an instruction, it looks it up in the instruction table. This table gives the location of routines paired with each instruction. If it finds an entry in the
table for the instruction, it branches to the routine. If there's no entry for the instruction, you see one of these errors.

Hope this helps, again good luck with this.
