I have a 9600 .
I use a Cordless Logitech Desktop PRO. , and a Trackman FX . I use same mouse and keyboard with 4 computers, PC , MAC , MACKIE ,PC Laptop.
I use a little box that converts MAC to PC stuff.
...It works.

I was thinking of getting a cordless mouse. But, the thought of extra radio waves flying in the air freaked me out too much.

I use the MacAlly Iweb key. It's usb and works infrared. It goes about 25 feet and thru glass but not walls. It's been a year, so far so good.

And, oh yeah, it 's only 70 bucks.

I'm using a cordless Logitech trackball with my system. The receiver is in a machine room above the control room, so the signal is going through a lot of construction material. I tried it on a lark, not thinking it would work -- but it works EXTREMELY well.

Perhaps we should ask Logitech to take a look at the whole -6042 error situation.
