OK, so it looks like SE has only 16 audio tracks - sounds like a 21st Century Protools Free! I used to love Protools Free, the limitations really helped me get inventive.

It probably works great on a new machine with not much work load for the CPU etc.

So if someone wants to buy an affordabel audio interface for their laptop to record their songs they can still get hooked on Protools without having to pay extra.

Clever, seeing as there is less incentive to use a competing DAW with the shiny new M-Audio interface.

No ADC. they just took PTLE and striped it down to run on less power full machines.

Will this be bundled with the Fast Track Ultra too? On the M-Audio site, it only mentions it with the new Mobile Pre.

I don't really know why I'm asking to be honest, seeing as I already have Protools LE.
