Default Omni-Mixer_Link across..DigiLink

in Omni Monitor software;

Omni 7.1 Only (No output buses across to the next digi-link I/O)
So, no 7.1.2 hight bussing.

Could the software-Omni-Monitor section see a digi linked I/O as one?

Something like Aggregated.

How are others doing this? Is Avid considered addressing this?
Or get/expand to a 16 output device which may be my own answer.

Mr. Young. Your setup gets to height setting but what are you doing with the new bus-path panning? (7.1.2 panner)

I've successfully created a 7.1.2 output using my Omni
(the Dolby Atmos Monitor/Renderer are optional)

I set up a 7.1 output across analog 1-8 and then used my cue output 1-2 (intended for headphones) to feed my height speakers.

I had to disable the Monitor mode on the Omni and control/calibrate each speaker independently (using JBL LSR4300 series).

Thank you.

Would be REAAALLLLY nice to implement 7.1.2 as a hardware monitor output on the OMNI. I know the MTRX Studio is out as it's replacement, but it should still be a software update or a firmware update.

A US$5k piece of hardware is not a replacement for a US$2.5k piece of kit. They each have their (very) different marketplaces.

Can't see why 7.1.2 couldn't be done on the Omni since it does allow stretching monitoring routing over analogue and digital for the same monitor path.
