iOS monitor control for MTRX

Hello Luke, great to see this iOs solution, the 'Device List' has the ipad in place and is selected as connected, iPad says connected (in green), and has taken the name I've given it at de "Device List'. After that I configered layer 1 under the Tab MoM in the Monitor Profile Configuration, but the iPad buttons dont work... can't swipe either

any thoughts?

I just checked again and it worked for me – sounds like you've done everything correctly. Try removing the controller from the Mom tab in Monitor Profile Configuration, and re-add it with the default preset. If not perhaps send me a screenshot of both phone and DADman to hello at lukktone dot com.

Hello Luke, finally got it working... it was so simple I dont dare to share it

The controller from the Mom tab in Monitor Profile Configuration has to be manual activated... I didnt know you could right click on the 'not-active' status.

No worries, enjoy! The new version of Pro Tools | Control pretty much does the same thing as the MOM app, too, so that's an alternative.

Just curious if anyone is having success with MOM running on the most recent release of DADman? I have only just tried to use the app for the first time ever, on my iPhone and can't for the life of me make it appear in the device list of DADman. My iPhone is returning network pings from the studio computer, so it seems like it is on the network ok.

If anyone has some thoughts on what is happening, I am all ears!

I'll double check when I get into the studio today. Which version of DADman are you running?

It looks like it is an issue with iOS 14 and broadcast packets, which are used to discover DADman. I am working on it and will update this thread when fixed.

I pulled an old smashed iPhone out of a drawer and it is working perfectly. I think it is running IOS 13 point something.

Version 2.1 (currently in App Store review) fixes the issue which prevented it working on iOS 14.
