Focusrite 2.0 audio driver problem

I'm new to PT and just trying to get started. I have Protools 11 and a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8. Anytime I try to record, PT says Protools could not initialize Focusrite 2.0 audio driver, please check settings to make sure they are correct. I have checked them and think they are correct. I'm not real computer savvy. OS is Windows 8. Any ideas? Please help.
