7x .ptf to 6.4 pts files--had to roll back
Hello,
I was wondering if someone could help me out with this. I recorded some files at a studio with PT 7.0, and I have 6.4--how can I open the .ptf files in 6.4 without errors? Thanks, definitely Rainman |

Re: 7x .ptf to 6.4 pts files--had to roll back
You can't.
You need to save them on the system that has 7.x to be backward compatible. To do this you would use "Save Session As" or "Save Copy In" on the 7.0 system, and then where it says "Save As Type" select "Pro Tools 5.1->6.9 Session (*.pts)".
