Default USB hub recommendation please...?

I've outgrown (or perhaps, outgroan) my two USB ports and need to get a USB hub.

Powered..., right?

Any particular brand to look for or to watch out for?

I'll have a couple of iLoks, a MOTU MTP A/V USB, and probably some stuff I'm forgetting to mention...

Thanks in advance for any comments
