eucon midi not working (OSX)

Hi,

i have to use my Artist Mix mit the HUI protocol.

i have the eucon midi driver in the Library/audio/Midi...

When i open the MIDI-Studio i can see Euphonix MIDI but is greyed out. Clicking on it i cant enable (also greyed out)

i dont have any idea how to enable it.

Any help would be awsome

You still need to install and run the EUCON software. Once you've done that, if you haven't already. Open System Preferences and click on EUCON. There, you can add applications that recognize the HUI protocol.

Hi,

yes i added the application, also Protocol i see HUI and chanel 1-4. I want use it for Davinci Resolve 14, which now should "accept" panels with HUI protocol.

But for now it is not working. I think it is because in my MIDI-Studio (MAC) i see the Eucon icon greyd out. And i think i have to find a way that this is active....

Btw... i also use the Avit transport and color. They both work fine in Resolve 14.

Maybe i have to mention that i run OSX Sierra...

I don't have much experience with Resolve, so this information may be outdated, but after a quick search, it looks like Resolve doesn't support faders. It looks like it will still link up with an Artist Control's transport and softkey functions, but no faders. Unfortunately, that probably means that the Artist Mix will not be compatible.

hi, yes. the link is out-dated. It is brandnew that Resolve 14 now can use HUI protocol. If the Avid mix is compatible... i dont know. All is quite new. Just some days.The reason i post this here is that in my opinion is a basic issue i have. Not app related. Maybe i am wrong but if the Midi does not work (greyed out) no app can use it. In Adobe Premiere the Mix works. But this Programm uses another protocol.

Have to digg deeper how to activate an run Eucon Midi properly...

Try deleting the Eucon app in Midi/Audio set up.
Restart Mac...hopefully this will rebuild the Eucon Midi drivers again.
I tried this and worked on my Mac with similar issue.
