How to change PT9 Registration Info?

I registered my copy of PT9 online the other day with Avid. However, since then I've decided to use my other iLok account ID. How do I change my iLok ID on my Avid registration for PT9 that has already been registered with a different iLok ID? Is the only way to do this through Avid support? Thanks in advance.

I think you need to have the i-Lok people transfer your license from one i-Lok to another. I don't think Avid is involved.

They remove your i-Lok permissions from one and put it into the other.

For sure this is an iLok issue. I just hope they don't charge you $25 for a transfer fee between 2 accounts. That makes a good reason to keep things in a single account(with as many iLoks as you need).

Folks, you seemed to have misunderstood! All I did was remove it from my old iLok account ID, and move the PT9 iLok license to my new iLok ID. It's not an iLok issue since i completed the transfer this morning and there was no fee involved. You have a few days grace period with moving a newly registered iLok license etc... It's an Avid's registration issue now since when I registered Pt9 the other day I referenced my former iLok ID. Guess I'll have to call Avid to change it since I see no way to do so online.

Every time you buy an iLok asset through Avid, you're asked for your iLok ID. You can have licenses deposited to whatever iLok ID you want.
