# of votes can be one data point, but as stated in the instructions "while it is helpful to vote on bugs, the severity of the bug carries more weight when Avid is prioritizing bug fixes."

This is a great place to discuss issues, but using it to track/list issues is challenging since it's more a collection of running discussions.

There are links for Bug Reports and Feature Requests in the Additional Resources section (scroll down to the Additional Resources when looking at duc.avid.com, or click Additional Resources up in the header). We'll continue to work on making it more visible.

Happy to accept what you say Jeffro, of course, but the level of communications with users re bugs is pretty weak. If you and your colleagues were able to spend a few moments each week/month providing a one paragraph update on what's happening with each confirmed bug, it would raise confidence levels that thre is a systematic program of bug gixing going on.

I agree that it's challenging, and I don't have an easy answer, except as above. A weekly/monthly update would be both helpful and reassuring to those of us patiently awaiting those fixes.

Visibility is what I'm really asking for. Along with obvious connectivity between the DUC and Ideascale, so that people coming here for solutions to problems have the best chance of actually receiving some useful information.

Perhaps there is some way of prominently (re)directing people to search Ideascale to check for existing bug reports?
