F13 custom macro now opens Task Manager

I have a custom macro that 'solo clears' (with keyboard maestro)
Since updating to 2018.7 that macro now opens task manager. (even though F13 is NOT the shortcut for that...)
When I reassign the macro to Opt+F13, it STILL opens task manager.

Anyone??

What are the steps that the macro triggers? if you disable the macro, does it still open Task Manager when you press F13? If I were to guess based on the info you've provide, it sounds to me like the programming of the macro is probably at fault.

On the Apple extended keyboard (the one with the keypad, etc.) there are F13, F14 and F15 buttons. IIRC they don't exist on laptops or the short keyboard.

man I'm such a doofus (at Times) I have one of magic keyboards..... an yup the ol "F" keys go all the way up to "F19" the stupidest thing is I would have typed that message with that keyboard....... age is approaching faster than

Don't sweat it - we all have senior moments. Take me - I didn't look above the keypad where the F16 thru F19 keys reside
