Default Elastic audio start-up solution

For those having elastic audio startup issues, PT support referred me to this item from the PT Knowledge Base:

This issue can occur in the rare event that the Elastic Audio plug-in is not updated properly during the upgrade. To resolve this issue you can either remove or manually update the Elastic Audio plug-in.

To remove the Elastic Audio plug-in:
Browse to Program Files/Avid/Pro Tools/System Plug-ins.
Locate the Elastic Audio.aaxplugin folder.
Right click on the Elastic Audio.aaxplugin folder and select Delete. This will allow Pro Tools to launch but Elastic audio will be disabled.

To manually replace the Elastic Audio plug-in:
Delete the Elastic Audio.aaxplugin folder as described above.
Right click on the EAFix_11_0_2.zip attachment linked below and choose “Save Link As…”
Leave the default file name and type and choose the Desktop as your location and click on “Save”.
Once the download has completed browse to your desktop, right click on the EAFix_11_0_2.zip, and choose the Extract All option. Leave the destination field set to the default destination (your desktop), and choose “Extract All…”.
Once the file has finished extracting browse to your desktop and then open the folder named EAFix_11_0_2. You should see a folder named Elastic Audio.aaxplugin. Right click on the Elastic Audio.aaxplugin and choose “Copy”.
Browse to Program Files/Avid/Pro Tools/System Plug-ins and do one of the following:
Right click on empty space in the System Plug-ins folder and select “Paste” or-
While in the System Plug-ins folder use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl-V or-
While in the System Plug-ins folder go to the Organize drop-down in the Explorer Window and choose “Paste”

This will replace the Elastic Audio plug-ins and allow you to launch Pro Tools with the Elastic Audio option active.

I am pleased to report it works. I'm a happy camper.
