Getting massive CPU spikes in 12.5. Removed all 3rd party plugs, killed as many background processes that I could and it didn't change anything. Even spiking without a session open. Had the occasional spike in 12.4 but nothing like this. Just checked my installer archive and the last version I have is 12.0. Boo.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm moving to this thread re. the -9173 error many of us are getting with 12.5. Dang I found that I hadn't done a DIY DL of 12.4...used that damn app manager so I can't roll back. Just checked my account and it's not there. I wish Avid would change that policy. Many of us may need to roll back from time to time...such as this -9173 error. Any ideas? At least I have my 12.4 version on another drive.

So this is my official request for an official link to the Avid 12.4 installer. In my case Windows 7. I will dutifully save this one and going forward avoid the AppMan route.

FYI- The 12.4 installers have been added to the Downloads for Upgrade Plan products in my.avid.com.

I definitely understand everyone's pain in this forum. I have 12.3 but no 12.4 or 12.5

I cant find versions of v12 anywhere on avid's site. What am I missing?

I thought you avid master account should give you access to all versions, but mine has nothing but PT 12.2?!

The quickest way to resolve might be to call them.

That aside, if you bought a perpetual license with no updates after some point in time (which I do not recall), that would likely be your only download. If you're on the update plan, you should at least have the latest version available.

For some reason I do not see the 12.4 download in my account. PT12.5 will not install. PT11 is fine 12.5 freezes on startup.
