Could not complete your request because integer error occurred (divide by zero)
Hello,
I am new to pro tools. I have recently downloaded the trial version of pro tools 10. It worked fine until I tried to open some .AAF sessions. When ir starts opening the session I get the following error message: "Could not complete your request because integer error occurred (divide by zero)" I am on Windows 7 64bit, 12 GB of RAM i7 8core. Can someone help? kind regards joni

Divide by zero . . . unforgivable! Fire the programmer.

I've seen some problems with AAF, but not a divide by zero issue. That's one that would stand out. Maybe try exporting the AAF again and/or try OMF. What's your AAF authoring software?

Hi ChuckS, thanks for your reply.
The AAF was exported from NUENDO. I will ask them to send me another AAF. I have exported some OMF's from Sonar and they open fine in PT. What does this "Divide by zero" means by the way?

It's just a condition that every programmer should be aware of and test for - programming 101.

tried to google it but it only refers to an error common back in Pro Tools 8 after CS3 or something.
Not serious. I am just testing PT to add it to the studio (which is based on Sonar and will remain the main software if it depends on me). Thanks for you help joni
