Default Native Instruments Guitar Rig

I was wondering if there are people out there using this plug-in with Pro-Tools LE. I've been using it for a week now and the thing that struck me the most is that it consumes ALOT of the CPU usage. Anyone has/had this "problem" too?

Cheers!

Charaggy

Yup. It's a bummer.

Well you've spent the money now, but you could always consider getting an outboard fx unit. I was kindly given the Yamaha FX500. Love it. There's one here on E-Bay.

weird that you ran into the CPU problem with this plug?
with Amplitube, my lowly G4 933 cant do more than 2 tracks (insert plug) at once (same on a decent fast PC laptop).
with Guitar Rig, I was able to go (to date) at least 6 tracks with no stoppage.
my demo ran out last week, but with my new Dell I'll be adding Guitar Rig to my library so that I can give my neighbors an (ear) break:) Im also thinking of getting a Marshall TSL60 combo. I wonder how that XLR output works on PTLE:)

I'm in the same boat here. My solution is to find a good sound and render to a new track by bussing the Guitar Rig-processed track to a new audio track. Then I can kill the original and the plugin. $ instances of GR sent the cpu meter from halfway to red.

I picked up the TSL 60 head along with a greenback cab. Wicked tones at all volumes:)
However Im getting intermitent audio using the XLR output to PTLE
It sounds like its loosing signal a la am radio:P
Any one here have the same set-up?
Dying to know if its something else.

Just got back from the music store.
I tried that same Marshall TSL60 on a Digi002 and it was fine.
I guess I better try other XLR cables (I tested 2 so far).
They offered a replacement head but Im attached to the one I picked up days before.
Im sure its not the head but something with the cables or Mbox.
I wrote to Digi on the matter to see if its something else.
Its the weirdest sound almost like its not connected barely:P
Cool if you want that drop sound effect:P
