002R + Powerbook G4 1Ghz FW Setup ??
Hey all...I'm trying to set up my 1 Ghz Powerbook G4 (which has 1 GB of RAM) with my 002R and a Western Digital firewire drive (120 GB/8 MB Cache) since it has only one firewire port, I read the PT manual which said to plug the drive in first and then the 002R. I did this, and when I opened up a session and hit play, I got a buffer overrun error, and it told me to lower my H/W buffer size - even when I had it at 64. Does anyone have any fixes for this? I'm running Panther, with PT 6.2.2 - I was thinking of buying a PCMCIA Firewire card and plugging the drive into that, so the 002 could be directly connected to the PB, would that make any sense? Any ideas?
