Hey Joel,
First I need to know where everything is reading and set by default.
Then I can tell you what to change to get it running at its best config.
First off set the CPU multiplier to 11 and leave the Voltages stock.
These are found under the Genie BIOS Setting.
The CPU voltage is controlled by the CPU VID control and the CPU VID Special control.
I also need to know if the RAM is POSTing at 333 or 400.
Also what are the timings this shows during the POST?
To see the POST you need to disable:
The Full screen Logo and the EPA LOGO under Advanced BIOS features.
Also what are your where are your Temps at?

Matt
Alright, here we go:

Okay, I set the CPU multiplyer to 11. However, I had the core voltage already set to 1.4 shall I bring it back to: .950?

Speed: 2.21GH
RAM is posting at 400 (C3)
I did not catch the timing this time even though I have the large and small LanParty logos disabled.
CPU is at 25C according to Sandra, but they were at about 37 in the bios just before I ran Sandra.

System Bios version 6.00 PG

I am not sure if I got you everything you need or not.....let me know. I will try to see the timings when I reboot in a second...

Hey Joel,
Sandra doesn’t seem to show temps right with NF3 board It get one of the board sensors
confused with the CPU so this is why I use EVEREST EVEREST Home Edition for checking temps and things.
NO! Do not lower your voltage. First off let get a DaveC run and see where were at stock
then will crank It Up!
Everything looks to be what I'd expect with what you have
So far so good.

Matt

Forgot to tell you the temps are under Computer/Sensors in Everest

Hey Matt,

I've had a couple of screen freezes. I was at 1.4 v earlier today, then Ibrought down to .950 after you post to have things in default mode. Then I raised it back up when you told me. I got a screen freeze after a while at the Windows desktop. And, now I got a screen freeze at restart during: "saving your settings".

I did a warm reboot and it seems to be fine. So, I wondered if I should do anything with the voltage, ram voltage or anything else before I proceed.

Let me know okay?

Oops, and by the way, that was 3-3-3-8 timing, not what I had in one of the last posts.....

Hey Joel,

You can put it at 1.55V with no problem.
(If you decide to OC any ways were going to raise it.)
What voltage is your RAM running at?
Did You Try A DaveC?
Did You Install Everest?
What are you Temps. Idle,Loaded?
I knew what you meant with the timings,
these are typical for this type of RAM.
I doubt that we will be able to run much tighter timings with that much memory.
But we will get some more out of the CPU If you want.

Matt

MAtt, I have had some freeze ups, but am going to raise the voltage anyway.

The RAM voltage is at 2.6, temps are in the low 30's according to Everest.

I have not tried a Davec yet because of the freeze ups. I am not certain, but maybe that had to do with the new boot order? HD, Floppy, CD..I changed back to Floppy, CD, HD. Anything else that may be causing that?

I also told the system not to pause and look for IDE stuff as none were installed. I set that back to the default setting though after the freeze ups.

Anything else?

Now, I am getting constant feeze ups.

I have cleared the CMOS (I did not remove the battery) and then booted to the bios and loaded the default settings.

Still freezing.

Any suggestions?

Hey Joel,

Raise RAM voltage to 2.7V
IF the chipset voltage is not 1.6V put it there.
We may be having problems with this much RAM.

We'll get it

Matt

Ah,

It's just frozen. I can get to the bios, but after that, it freezes before anything else.
