Default Authorization Wire Exception error in Pro Tools 12

This morning, Im in the middle of stem recording, and get unending wire exception errors. I couldn't continue working.

I don't even have 12.6, but after after 20 minutes of head scratching, I figured out it was iLok intruding.

I had to go into iLok manager and surrender my PTHD licenses, and import the NEW 12 perpetual licenses, along with the Digilink IO license, before I could continue working.

That was weird

The future ghost of 12.6??

Glad that you don't seem to have been down for too long.

Cheers!

Huh. Is that what the issue was. Ended up being a showstopper in the middle of a session with a client for me.
Pretty upsetting for both me and the client.

Why do I think this is all going to be as much "fun" as some of the previous iLok fiascos.

I've just looked at my iLok out of interest and I do have one asset waiting for this coming upgrade. Trouble is I have TWO licensed copies (on active support right now) of PT 12HD.

What I don't get is if you were running 12.x prior to 12.6, and your iLok had the pre-9-27-16 PT12HD license, how could that license have been invalidated? Were you logged into iLok Manager and partially synced?

Sorry about this. We posted a Tech Alert about licenses today and as far as I've seen there's no impact (I got them in my account as well while I was running 12.5.2). I started a support case for you to capture this in the event we need to investigate further.

I don't see the new licenses deposited in your account (yet) so perhaps you had experienced a different issue, or you have more than one account? Please sign into the related Avid account and go to Access The Support Center > Equipment > Create A Case to provide all of your details. Thanks!

Confirmed... I see one Pro Tools HD Perpetual Bundle in your iLok account and you have two active HD Upgrade & Support Plans. I don't believe this process has been completed yet though, so you must still be in the queue for that second bundle.

Jeffro,

I manage 2 Avid accounts, one personal studio, the other for the production company.
This instance was the production company account.

My personal HD asset has not been deposited, just my PT vanilla.
