Re: Recovering files from crashed pro tools?
Quote:
File --> import --> Session Data --> mytune.ptf However, when we had the crash, we lost all the tracks in the ptf file. So, when I try to import data from this session, there is no info there because all our tracks were lost. Please let me know if I'm still not doing this right. Thank you for your time. |

Re: Recovering files from crashed pro tools?
Apparently, my auto backup was not enabled so no backups were being saved. I least I know now to never let that happen again.
Does anyone else have any ideas on recovering the file? Or at least the best way to bring in the audio files and match them up again? I tried the Recuva (recovery program) and all it recovered were a couple wav's. It didnt see any type of Pro Tools file. Thanks everyone! |
