pro tools not recognizing mbox
went away on vacation and came back to a bit of a head scratcher.
my pro tools 7.4 does not recognize my mbox at present. the mbox is plugged in. it's lit up. windows recognizes it as new hardware, but when i load up pro tools i get a hardware is not connected message. i have tried several different usb ports. i uninstalled then reinstalled pro tools. all to no avail. thoughts? suggestions? advice? thank you kindly. rick |

Re: pro tools not recognizing mbox
forgot to mention that during this process of trying different usb ports the computer will just restart on its own.

Re: pro tools not recognizing mbox
Find the Mbox in your device manager and update the driver.
Primary question, though, SOMETHING had to change for it to stop working. Auto updates on? (BAD idea, turn 'em off!) And if so, it might have installed Internet Explorer 8, which you need to uninstall. Those are the first things that come to mind. Post a sandra report so we'll have some details about your system. |
