Chris
This is EXACTLY what I'd like to know and would greatly appreciate clarification from Avid.

Nobody knows, but I'd surely like to hear that at least HD license bundles would always have the PT10HD available, as it is the last of TDM systems.

It means his PTHD bundled license will authorize Pro Tools non-HD and HD 11 and 10 now, Pro Tools non-HD and HD 12 when it is released, and any upgrades available through the term of that Upgrade/Support plan, which runs through whatever date in 2016 for when he purchased his upgrade plan.

If he purchased the upgrade between October 10 and December 31, 2014, that would include upgrades through March 31, 2016.

If purchased in 2015, that would include upgrades for 1 year from date of activation into 2016.

I'm confused by this post. Is this only for HD licenses? I purchased my upgrade Dec 1st 2014. I don't see any indication of PT12 in my iLok account. What gives????

Its a deal breaker for me. If there is a possibility that I continue my upgrade path would be if I can keep PTHD10 plus whatever version is available. If they come with a more reasonable price other than 599 a year, I will likely keep current.

If it's a perpetual license, then no it does not stop working. Perpetual licenses still authorize the software regardless of support plan enrollment - this goes for PT 10, PT 11, and PT 12

I don't know the answer to the first question. But to be clear, the license can't be yanked from your account - at that's what I understand.

I'm just curious about PT10 being taken away by PT 12 but it looks good. Thanks Bruce and Oblivion.
I was one the users that benefitted the best by upgrading from PT10 just before December. I guess I have until March, 2016 to pull the trigger on 12 but I won't push my luck.
Hopefully by the time PT13 comes out, 11 will be solid as a rock and all my plugins and/or sessions will be updated automatically or manually. Maybe PT12 will work out of the gate since it's part of the new 64 bit family.
I not only went from 32bit to 64bit but also going from PC to MAC. What a cluster of fun!

What happens if I buy the subscription plan for 12 and let that plan run out? 12 stops working - we know and expect this - but with this new "bundle" of 12/11/10 does 10 also stop working?

I bought 10 for perpetual use, not to be bundled with an app which is being rented and could be removed if I stop renting.

Which are you asking about, Eric? Subscription or support plan?

If you have a perpetual license and then subscribe, they are two different sets of licenses. One is perpetual (the one you already own) and the other is timed (the sub). You don't lose licenses you already own, because it's an entirely different license.

But I upgraded my PT10+CPTK to HD11 in December 2014 and there is no mention of HD12, upgrades till March 2016 or even a support plan in my account?
