Default BFD Lite question. I can\'t launch it!!

Hi, I'm a noob here and you guys might able to solve this "mystery". I just bought a MBox Mini 2 on WinXP Pro. After installing BFD Lite from the PT Ignition Pack CD, I can't launch the program! I click on Start > All Programs > FX Expansion > BFD Lite and all I have there are the Manuals and the Uninstaller. I don't have the executable, even in its folder. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

Plug-ins like BFD can be inserted into a stereo Instrument track - then the interface will come up where you can "play it". It can't be launched as a standalone application - it's a plug-in.

Hi!

A different kind of issue: every time when I launch or load BFD, I get this alert: "Couldn't load kit piece at E:\FXpansion\BFD\Data\DW\Kick1". However, the DW kick drum loads in just fine as well as all the other kit pieces and everything works perfectly. So why is this message appearing when nothing is actually wrong?

I've installed all BFD's audio data on a separate internal hard disk, and the other BFD program files are on the system drive. Both disks are Seagate Barracuda Serial ATA 7200rpm, 200 and 250 gigs, no fragmentation. 2,00 GB DDR RAM.

In the Options, uncheck "Load default kit when BFD starts". This was fixed in a newer (full BFD) build... I'm not sure if there was an update for the Lite version.
