Software update to 10.5.7, now M-box not seen

Any ideas? Specs are:

PB1.67Ghz/2GB RAM plenty of free HDD space.
Running OSX 10.5.7. PTle 7.3, which until I did the software upgrade, worked fine. Now the M-Box (original with Focusrite pres) is not seen on the USB buss. Tried different cables, (it lights up and goes through usual power sequence) and USB port, no luck.

Has Apple screwed me on this?

I'm on 10.5.7 with the original Mbox with no problems, although on PT8.

I don't believe that 7.3 is compatible with Leopard - you need 7.4.2 or better. Check the compatibility chart.

Nevermind, after several reboots and a permissions repair, all is well.

7.3 might not be "officially supported" vor 10.5.7, but it is working just fine, and has been for a long time for me.
