Default Want A Course for Pro Tools For Voiceover

Hi.

I’m an experienced VO actor who’s been taught what I needed to know by an professional audio engineer.

I voice in two languages and I’d like for my son to learn the software in more depth than I did so he could help edit those second language sessions.

Can anyone recommend a course that does a great job of teaching Pro Tools with a specific focus on voiceover production?

I’m aware this only scratches the surface of PT’s power until you get into dialogue editing for post.

Once he’s got what he needs to know for VO down, I’m happy for him to continue his education into more complex music and dialogue production As that will be of use to him down the road.

Thank you in advance for any recommendations.

I believe the current version of iZotope rX has a 'beep' function for such instances.

Thanks for mentioning iZotope RX7 – probably the handiest set of plug-ins available for Voiceovers. There's a free Trial available:
https://support.izotope.com/hc/en-us...otope-Software

If you want to buy iZotope RX7 Standard, here's a good pathway - but it ends in about 17 hours:

First, create a free account at AudioDeluxe, before adding the next 3 items to your Cart – get all 3 of the following for a total price of under US$135

iZotope Music Maker's Bundle
https://www.audiodeluxe.com/products...-makers-bundle

This can be used to buy the Crossgrade to iZotope RX7 Standard

On of the nice things with RX7 is you don't need the super-duper version. I can do a lot with just the base program.
