IMPOSSIBLE TO RUN MBOX2 WITH MACKBOOK PRO i5 13" with Leopard

A few days ago I have bought a macboock pro 13 " with i5 with leopard and it is impossible to set to work my mbox with the protools 8. With the drivers of the dvd of the mbox it does not manage to detect to my mbox (it remains in the typical condition of illuminate of previous way ignited and that of connection usb subdued. i downloaded the standalone drivers of the web digidesign and it detects it but the protools doesn´t work. there is some drivers or something that it could do to use the product I have bought adequately???
Please help!!!!! I go away for a gig on Saturday and i need to solve the problem.

Hace pocos días me he comprado un macboock pro 13" con i5 con leopard y me es imposible poner a funcionar mi mbox con el protools 8. con los drivers del dvd de la mbox no llega a detectarme la mbox (se queda en el típico estado de la luces de los previos medio encendidas y la de conexión usb apagada. me baje unos drivers standalone de la web digidesign y si que me la detecta pero no me va el protools . hay algunos drivers o algo que pueda hacer para usar el producto k he comprado adecuadamente???
Por favor ayudaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! me voy de bolo el sábado y necesitaría solucionar el problema.
