drag and drop not working PT12.7.1 Win 10pro
Trying to get a PC Protools rig up and running. I can't seem to drag and drop an audio file into protools.
-I've turned off UAC as suggested in an old thread. -I've also made sure that permissions are correct. -I've tried running as administrator and tried running not as administrator with the same results. Any ideas? PT12.7.1 Win 10 pro

I had same problem, but turning off administrative function did the trick ... maybe ask the guys at Pro Tools PC, they are quite helpful

Would the work/media drive you are dragging from happen to be an ExFat volume? Besides the Administrator thing, ExFat is where I've seen this happen, it was however using PT11, dunno if it is relevant in 12

The drives are NTFS. That was a good suggestion though.

solved:
Had to use regedit to shut off UAC. Using just the slider did not do it.
