Couple of simple things to look at:
Do you have anything stacked on top of the 11R? It could be overheating and shutting down.

Do you have it plugged into any kind of power conditioner? That would be a good thing as most municipal AC power has all kinds of crud on it, not to mention what's also on the same side of the line in one's house.

You have a 2 space unit in a 2 space rack? No breathing room I bet. My 11R gets very warm after a couple of hours of usage let alone after being on 12+ hours in my studio. Mine's in a 4 space rack with nothing in the space above so there's some place for the heat to go to. Remember basics laws of thermodynamics that heat rises.

It could be the power supply inside but I'd take it out of that rack and let the thing breathe. Heat is the enemy of electronics.

Very strange. One last thing to try before trying to get it fixed by Avid - can you leave the unit powered on and connected to nothing other than an AC outlet? Like overnight maybe? I know I'm grasping at straws but wondering if something's coming in that tells it to shut down. When you run it is it also plugged into a computer via the USB port?

Well you've tried everything I can think of - guess it's time to try and get it fixed if you can find someone to do so.
