Default Plug & Mix Plugins

Anyone have any experience with any of their plugins, the company, etc? There are some really good deals on the site that sells them, but since I have little experience, I don't know if the deals are really deals.

There's a lot of good sounding plugins in there. I've had the bundle since it's release. I don't use it a ton but it's so cheap for 45 plugins.

We bought the 45+ plugins when they were on sale a few years ago but unistalled them after a month or so. The plugin count clutters up the whole list and they are a low end developer, some are quite good but overall you get what you pay for. $99 for 45 plugins is evidence enough.

They are legit 100% though and no worries to buy from them and it is a good bundle to start out with for sure.

I rely on my ear more than actual knowledge so don't take my word as a gospel but the American Tweed is one of the best Fender Bassman emulations I've tried and the Digital Reverb works great on guitars. For the price you get a bunch of useful and super light on CPU plugins.

These are all decent plugins and at the occasional sale price unbeatable value, but like Chris says, they clutter up the plugin list. I wish they would make one multi effects plugin with all the algorithms in one container. I use a few of them once in a while, but for every one I guess I have a better option already. Nothing wrong with them, easy on the CPU and quick to set with few parameters to get lost in.

This is another "No brainer - trash container" bundle I purchased a few years ago and never used.

I've had the bundle since it came out. There's some excellent ones in there.

For example, brightness sounds better than the Abbey Road Brilliance pack. I had the original AR plug and the replacement from Softube and the P&M one sounds better.

The Dimension D emulation sounds excellent too. I've used the original hardware and this is every bit as good.

There are plenty of others. If you are just getting started this bundle is a no brainer IMHO and even if you are not it is a more than worthwhile addition, especially considering the price.

Thanks, everyone, for your insights! More questions... Can you selectively install your choices, or is it all or nothing? Conversely, if you must install everything, can you selectively uninstall some and not others? Either way would make it useful if there are some you just don't have a use for.

It is all or nothing hence the stuffing ip the plugin list very annoying as there are several versions of each so more than 50-60 plugins spread out everywhere and you might only use 10 or less as most of them are just booring and sound nothing like more expensive plugins.

I wonder if someone who says these are soo great have ever used UAD-2 and Sonnox etc as the P&M are a low entry bundle you will use for atime and then get the real thing.
