S6L .. Stereo Input ... compressor tracking
Hi,
Have a S6L, v5.3.2.5 Noticed something odd during line check. I have a stereo input channel with a compressor (built in channel, not plugin) and it would only engage based on the Left channel, not the right channel (i.e. Unplugging the signal on the left channel made the compressor unresponsive to information regarding the right channel). Is this a bug, or am I missing a step for it to act based on both channels information? Also, what is it's characteristics regarding L/R information, is it like DBX where it is absolute (if 1 side is over the threshold, both sides compress), or like Drawmer, (If 1 side is over within ~6dB, just that side compresses) Thanks, BRad |

Re: S6L .. Stereo Input ... compressor tracking
Well, had some time before more SC today ... metering follows the LEFT, but right affects everything as you would hope.
