Optical in and out with Fostex D-5 datplyr
I'm trying to send my stereomix to a fostex d-5 dat player optically.Also importing material
to the 001. any help would be appreciated.

Open Protools. NO SESSION OPEN. Select Playback engine from the SETUPS window. Then other options.Far right- Optical format-SPDIF or ADAT- Select Spdif. Then in the session select optical sync( SEssion setup window and optical inputs. Same when outputting to the D5 but PT cand be in internal sync
