Default Re: Tape Saturation and Valve Simulation Plugins for XP

btw - thanks GW for the info on the T-Racks release. I tried the demo for the MAC and it does sound really good. (Makes the cymbals sound creamier somehow) anyway, I think I could get away with using that on the PC for awhile anyway.

FYI, here is McDSP's response to my email:

"Thank you for your interest in McDSP. Unfortunately we do not have plans
at this time to port our plug-ins to XP. But we do track the number of
requests, so thank you for your email.

Jake"

So if enough of us request an XP version they just might do it!?!?!?

I know, I know (making a MAC post in the Windows forum) ... it's just that I did that plugin and track count test and all I can do is 12 tracks on my MAC while the rest of you high end PC users can do double for about half the price of a MAC... what'so odd is that when I decided to go Mac 3 years ago in the first place all the MAC people stated that CPU speed means nothing (ie that a 500 MHZ MAC was equal to about a 800-900 MHZ PC) it's just that I've since learned that that is just a crock. I'm kicking myself now for every buying the MAC.
Anyway, such is life.. you live and learn!
