Graphics issue - PT 8.0.1

I installed the updated for ProTools a few months ago-- love all the new sounds and instruments in Xpand! Ever since that time, however, I've had ongoing minor issues with the graphics. When I click and drag over an area of a track (so as to highligh that part), the entire screen goes gray. Sometimes it also happens when I click on the track to place the cursor on a track, the entire screen also goes gray. Doesn't happen all the time-- it only seems to happen when the files are at higher resolution (closer in)-- or at least I haven't noticed it yet when I'm scrolled out from the track-- and when I move out to a lower resolution, it clears. Frustrating, as I can't see where the cursor is when this happens, and I have to lose my place to expand out and then move back in again.

I have cleared all my pref folders a number of times, but nothing has changed. Anyone else having that problem? I have only been using the Digi plug-in's, such as Xpand, Reverb, etc. when this happens.

Also, can anyone tell me why the new Xpand has some instruments with "+" in front of them, and others not? The upgrade really threw me for a loop, as the instrument names and locations all seemed to change for me.

Is there anyone who can help me with this problem? Do I need to post this thread in another topic area? I'm really frustrated by this ongoing issue, and I'd be so grateful for any ideas...

I have the same computer and using a 002. I am not experiencing this graphics problem. I am running 10.5.8. Perhaps you need to update your OS. At least to 10.5.6. Use the combo updater from the Apple site.

Although our setup is different, I have never experienced this issue.
