S1 fader initialization & reset

I'm experiencing this exact problem at the moment. I had a working setup (although I always had to boot up Mac and EuControl first and then the S1 in order for it to be seen, despite manual saying to do the opposite).

Then recently the Avid Control app Auto-Updated which meant I had to update EuControl software. Since then the S1 simply will not boot up all the way, it consistently gets stuck with AVID logo on all displays. Hardware configuration has stayed exactly the same. It does the same when completely disconnected from the Mac as well, in case that's some indicator.

Is there a way to do a hardware reset to see if that makes a difference?

Also if it reaches the AVID logo does that mean it has actually booted up properly, and does it only go to the hollow rectangles display once it sees the EuControl software?

I realise the Mac OS is pretty ancient and technically not supporting EuControl software, but as mentioned it worked fine previously, although obviously it;'s now a new version of the software.

Avid Logos means its booted. Sounds like the network connection is the issue. If you haven't already connect with a direct cable and see if it shows in EuControl All Surfaces list.
