When I wrote that, Avid knew about the bug but had yet to announce any resolution. Also when you have a support plan you’re explicitly paying for this service. I don’t start a case for every bug I notice. But this one is an example of a show stopper. The more official cases they have about it the more it gets pushed to the devs.

I'm also dealing with this - BUMP! OMF importing is the bread and butter of Pro Tools for post production professionals. If we can't do that - we can't use Pro Tools. Avid please patch this asap!

Have you tried if it is fixed in 2020.5 bcs I remember someone mentioning that at least one OMF bug was squashed

An OMF that gave me the Bento error yesterday on 2020.3 opened up fine in 2020.5.

It seems that ""Could not complete the Import Tracks command because OMFI_ERR: Bento container error; In omfsOpenFile "" is fixed in version 2020.5.
I could successfully import three OMFs that previously gave that error.
Other issue related to "Import Session Data" described in this post https://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=396984 is not fixed.

I can confirm that this is correct. I was getting the same error on 2020.3 but it's fixed in 2020.5. That said, other OMFs were working fine for me on 2020.3, so it was something specific in that particular OMF. My guess is a nested sequence in Premier.
