Default HOW SHOULD I DO MY ROUTING?

Just looking for the pros and cons to these options.

Should I plug my keyboard in directly to my digi002?
OR plug it into a Grace Design 101 then into the 002?
OR go into the 101, then a RNC Compressor, and into the 002?
OR (lastly) go into a RNC compressor, then 101, then 002?

Given these pieces... what is the best way to set up a Mic and a Keyboard???

Are you using a keyboard-keyboard or an electronic piano(Rhodes, Wurly, Clav, etc.).
If you're using a regular keyboard(Korg, Roland, etc.), it already has line outs. Just plug them into the TRS ins on the back of the 002. Why waste valuable mic pre's on an instrument that doesn't need it. If you want, throw the RNC in between, but I would personally use it AFTER you record your tracks through an insert bus. I have two whole dbx 900 racks loaded with Dynamics modules just so I can route them through my 882's as inserts.

Use the grace for mics and the line ins for Keyboards and other line devices.

002 = LATENCY
insert an outboard gear through an insert bus its almost impossible
